Associations are invited to participate in a special project designed to better understand how their members are using social media. The collected data can then be used by participating associations to craft smarter social media strategies.
Social Media Use Survey for Individual Association Members
Description: This survey allows an association to query their membership and understand how the members are using social media.
The data collected is kept segregated from other participating organizations.
Member or customer identification information is never collected.
Your organization will receive a copy of the raw data collected for your association as well as access to a free benchmarking report.
Your survey will be customized and branded with your identity including your own welcome statement. We will provide you with a unique link to be used only by your membership.
The survey contains a set of standard questions (see sample survey) and allows up to 3 unique, customized questions for your organization.
Does the association get a copy of the data that is collected?
Yes, you will receive an Excel file with all of the responses received from your members.
Can we include custom questions specific to our association?
Yes, you can add up to 3 custom questions just for your association.
Who sends the survey invitations?
You control the distribution of the survey link. We never see your member data.
Do we get a copy of the benchmarking report?
Participating associations will get periodic reports of the aggregated data for benchmarking.
Is our member's identity ever exposed or collected?
At no time is your member's identifying information ever collected.
Is there a deadline to participate?
This survey will be ongoing. You can participate when you want. However, the sooner you start, the sooner you will learn how your members are using social media!
Social Media Use Survey for Associations and Organizations
Description: This survey will ask how social media is being used within your organization. More than 900 associations, companies, government entities and foundations have already taken the survey.
Participants receive a free copy of the aggregated survey results that you can then use for benchmarking purposes.
The survey consists of just 12 questions and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
